Peter has over 30 years of experience in public practice, including 20 years as a principal in a chartered accountant’s practice. He has been a partner of W.W. Vick & Co. for over 11 years.

Peter’s early audit experience was gained by working with a second tier firm known as Bentley’s where he was engaged as the audit supervisor on several publicly listed company audits, as well as being directly responsible for the conduct of large family companies.

Peter has extensive experience within public practice in conducting statutory audits of clients such as manufacturers, importers, wholesalers of food products, commercial construction companies and wholly-owned subsidiaries of foreign companies involved in the retail trade.

In recent years, Peter has provided audit services to the not-for-profit sector covering public benevolent institutions involved in various forms of cancer research, and has conducted audits for incorporated and unincorporated entities in the aged care industry.

Peter has also worked on special assignments such as company reconstructions, valuations of businesses, dispute resolution, and assistance with information technology implementation for clients and business interruption insurance claims.

• Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (CA)
• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting Finance and Systems from the University of New South Wales
• Registered Company Auditor – No. 4554
• Justice of the Peace
